Hi, Mapela here! I am so glad you are here! I am a lifestyle coach who helps women learn how to create a sense of confidence, control, self-love and self-care through a positive mindset, exercise and a good relationship with food.
I help them learn how to find a balance in life whilst still caring for others, pursuing their careers and all the other responsibilities life brings their way.
It pleases me seeing women build strength, confidence, acquire new knowledge about living a holistic life and appreciating themselves for who they are.
Six years ago I gave birth to my daughter and I was able to stay strong, handle responsibilities of a new mother whilst taking my self-care seriously and it is my passion to share with other mothers how to find the balance after motherhood and still have the drive to pursue their dreams.
As most mothers, I gained 35 lbs with my “back-to-back” pregnancies and it took me about a year to lose the weight. I knew all the right things to do as a fitness expert but the journey was not easy. It took a lot of patience and perseverance to get in the shape that was healthy for me and it is my goal to be the cheerleader for mothers who are in the same shoes. I am here to guide and motivate them to get to a happy place, to teach them to appreciate their bodies and to get to a point where they have the confidence to rock motherhood and all else it brings.
I am an advocate of appreciating the small things in life, learning how to disconnect daily, living in the moment and taking pride in ourselves. In today’s culture, I aim to remind women that perfection is overrated and happiness is key. I always remind them that happiness is a choice, confidence is the key to happiness and leading a healthy lifestyle is the secret main ingredient.
